Galina N. Povalyashko

Biographical information:

Born in 1957 in Temirtau of Karagandy region.

Professional experience:

1975-1989 – she worked in a centralized system of public libraries of Temirtau. She combined work with her study and at Kazakh State Women's Pedagogical Institute (Almaty), graduated in 1981.

1989 - junior researcher of Directorate of Art Exhibitions (State Committee for Culture of the Kazakh SSR), Showroom of Temirtau. She combined work with  her study at the Ural State University (Yekaterinburg) in the Faculty of Arts and Cultural Studies (graduated in 1996)

1993-2008 - teacher, Lecturer, Department of "Social and Humanities" in the Karagandy Metallurgical Institute.

2008 – till now - professor of "History of Kazakhstan and the humanities" of the Kazakh National University of Arts

Since 2015 - Chief Researcher KazRIC
