This item is made from genuine suede leather and is a traditional element of Kazakh costume. The main material is soft, light-brown suede, complemented by cotton fabric and decorative embroidery using silk threads of animal origin. The garment’s design features a loose fit and a comfortable shape, characteristic of traditional clothing from nomadic cultures. The upper part is fitted with a cord, which is used to fasten the garment at the waist. This method of fastening ensured comfort and allowed for an adjustable fit.The decorative design is concentrated on the lower part of the garment and on the sides. The ornamentation is executed in embroidery using coloured silk threads and features a symmetrical composition. The pattern is dominated by floral and geometric motifs: stylised floral rosettes, scrolls, arched lines and ornamental elements forming a complex decorative design. The ornamental compositions are arranged symmetrically on both sides, creating a harmonious rhythm and compositional balance. The colour scheme is based on a combination of the warm, natural shade of suede with the bright colours of the embroidery — red, green and blue tones.
