Honoring ceremony of veterans in Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan

May 4, 2015. Astana. Today the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan is honoring veterans of the Second World War. The program of celebrations includes musical “Great Victory: left to descendants” and opening ceremony of “Successors of the Victory” fund exhibition.

Victory in this brutal war has cost our people many millions of human lives, so people well remember the victims of the last war, and especially well know the value of Peace. It took more than half a century, grew up a new generation. For them, the Great Patriotic War - a distant history. But conscience and duty to the winners and those who died for life on earth must not let us forget this heroic-tragic page of the history of our state.

In honor of our dear guests, together with long-time partner of the Museum for cultural and educational activities prepared musical “Great Victory: left to descendants”, dedicated to the heroism of a soldier from Kazakhstan - Heroes of the Soviet Union: Bauyrzhan Momyshuly, Alia Moldagulova, Manshuk Mametova, the heroes of 316 rifle division under the command of Major-General I.V. Panfilov. Learners of grammar-school № 17 of Astana in episodes of the pages of the history of the Great Victory will tell about patriotism, courage, love and memory.

Fund exhibition “Successors of the Victory” depicts severe days of war, will remind of courage and heroic deeds of brave veterans. Each detail of this exhibition is a proof of glorious events of the distant days. Presented in the exposition archival documents, photos, video documents and other materials testify to the decisions made by the Supreme Commander-In-Chief of RK N. A. Nazarbayev in early years of independence and predetermined stable and secure development of Kazakhstan.

As a founder of Armed Forces of RK, N.A. Nazarbayev was an initiator of strategically important steps: refusal of the nuclear weapon, the solution of issues on disputable territories in border areas and delimitation of border, creation of the higher militarized educational institutions, etc. For visitors will also represent materials narrating about Victory Parade on Red Square in Moscow, as well as materials about modern Armed Forces of independent Kazakhstan – successors of high and responsible mission of protection the Homeland.

Among the guests of the exhibition are residents and guests of the capital and representatives of the young generation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan who will be able to examine glorious examples of heroism shown in tragic years of war.
