Kazakh research institute of culture cooperate with international organizations and institutes of culture of countries of near and far abroad in the following areas:

• Educational activity on exchange of experience, advanced training and retraining of specialists;
• Research activity in realization of common scientific projects
• Scientific-methodical activity on organization of brainstorming workshops, symposiums and conferences.

Among the partners of the institute are Cluster office of UNESCO, British Council, Global Environment Facility, Smithsonian institute (Washington), Independent studio «New York New York», National Geography Society office in Astana.

Established contacts with Google Arts, Stuttgart institute of external relations, National museums Association.

The institute has close cooperation with the Russian institute of history of arts, Ilya Repin State Academic Institute for Painting, Sculpture and Architecture, State Hermitage, St. Petersburg State University, Russian Museum of Ethnography of the Ministry of culture of the Russian Federation and Institute of design, applied arts and humanities in the frames of which international exhibitions, education of specialists in the field of culture were organized.
