On Victory Day, May 9, a gala concert «Victory Waltz» will take place in the Main Hall of the Astana Opera House. Film stills and wartime paraphernalia will adorn the stage, and the creative team of the Astana Opera House will recreate the atmosphere of that distant and difficult era.
The Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan Abzal Mukhitdinov will be conducting this evening’s performance. Remembering the heroism of those who trod this difficult path to victory, masters of the stage arts Aigul Niyazova, Saltanat Akhmetova, Saltanat Muratbekova and young soloists will perform songs that helped the generation of winners to fight, survive, hope, struggle, stand up till the very end.
