The results of the ХХІІІ Republican festival of drama theatres of Kazakhstan are summed up in Ust-Kamenogorsk

September 29, 2015, Astana city. A grant event for amateurs of theatre arts was held in Ust-Kamenogorsk last week. The ХХІІІ Republican festival of drama theatres of Kazakhstan was held by

Ministry of culture and sport of Republic of Kazakhstan and local administration of East Kazakhstan region.

Eight state theatres participated in this festival, there are Theatre named after Abay and the State Russian drama theatre named after F.Dostoyevskiy of East Kazakhstan region (Semey), East-Kazakhstan region drama theatre (Ust-Kamenogorsk), Karaganda region Kazakh drama theatre named after S. Seifullin (Karaganda), West-Kazakhstan region Kazakh drama theatre (Uralsk), Akmola region Kazakh Music and Drama Theatre named after Sh. Khussainov (Kokshetau), Kazakh state academic Music and Drama Theatre named after K. Kuanyshbayev and Theatre of Youth of Astana city (Astana).

 Performances of national and foreign authors, dedicated to the main dates of 2015, such as 70^th anniversary of Victory in the World War II in 1941-1945years, 20^th anniversary of RK Constitution and 550^th anniversary of the Kazakh khanate, were presented by the theatres in Ust-Kamenogorsk.

 The jury, chaired by Assanali Ashimov, who is an actor and stage and film director, national artist of Kazakhstan and the USSR and USSR State Prize Laureate, included well-known figures of Theatre Arts: Bakhyt Nurpeisov is a Professor of the Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after T.Zhurgenov, Murat Akhmanov is an Honored Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the artistic director of the Kazakh State Academic Theater for Children and Youth  named after G.Musrepov, Alia Bopezhanova, who is an honored worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the winner of the International literary Prize "Alash" and art Ph.D., Associate Professor Amangeldi Mukan, who is a Head of the Department of Theatre and Film Institute of Literature and Art named after M.Auezov.

 On jury’s decision according to nominations and awards, approved by the Ministry of Culture and Sport of RK and local administration of East-Kazakhstan region, the theatres, actors and director were awarded with special diplomas and prizes:

 nomination “The best Supporting Actor” is awarded to Aman Mukashev, who is an actor of Karaganda region Kazakh drama Theatre named after S. Seifullin, for the role of “Zhalba” in performance “Uly Arman” of D.Ramazan;

nomination “For the perpetuation of a historical figure” is awarded to collective of Akmola region Kazakh Music and Drama Theatre named after Sh.Khussainov, for their performance “Aldaspan. Zh.Tashenov” of E.Toleubai;

nomination “The Best Actress” is awarded to Elena Druchinina, who is an actress of State Russian Drama Theatre named after F.Dostoyevskiy of East-Kazakhstan region, for her role of Mariya Petrovna Nebylitsa in the performance “Fronovichka” by A.Baturina;

nomination “For a high level of artistic harmony” is awarded to collective of the Theatre of Youth Astana city for the performance “Tyrau-tyrau tyrnalar” by S. Zhunussov;

nomination “The best director's decision” is awarded to Talgat Temenov, who is a producer of the performance “Tyraulap ushkan tyrnalar”, based on the play of V.Ezhov, of Kazakh state academic Music and Drama Theatre named after K.Kuanyshbayev;

nomination “For development of theme the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory” is awarded to collective of West-Kazakhstan region Kazakh Drama Theatre for the performance “Zhamilya” by Ch.Aitmatov;

nomination “550^th anniversary of Kazakh khanate” is awarded to collective of East-Kazakhstan region Drama Theatre for the performance “Kerey-Zhanibek” by D.Ramazan;

 Special prize of Akim of East-Kazakhstan region is awarded to collective of Abay’s Theatre of East-Kazakhstan region.

The theatres-participators are awarded grateful letters from Ministry of Culture and Sport of Republic of Kazakhstan.

It should be noted that the ХХІІІ theatre festival on Republic level was held for the first time on the stage of new building constructed especially for this arrangement in East-Kazakhstan region Drama Theatre.

The festival performances were presented for 4500 audience.
