Lead Researcher of Kazakh Research Institute of Culture Irina Viktorovna Erofeeva participated in the International Scientific and Practical Conference “From Turkic El to the Kazakh Khanate”.
The conference was held at the Institute of Asian and African Studies at Lomonosov Moscow State University as the part of the 550th anniversary celebration of the Kazakh Khanate, organized with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Russian Federation.
Scientific forum gathered several dozens of leading historians, philologists and orientalists from around the world. Scientists have discussed a wide range of issues - from the study of runic writing to the questions of the New Silk Road formation. Irina Viktorovna Erofeeva presented report on “The concept of “citizenship” of Kazakh rulers’ epistolary heritage at 30-50th of XVII century”.
After her return to Kazakhstan, Irina Viktorovna shared her impressions of the past conference. During the meeting, the Director General of the Institute A.R. Khazbulatov awarded Thank-you Letter and Jubilee Medal to I.Erofeeva on behalf of the Minister of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan A. Mukhamediuly for significant contribution to the study of the history of the Kazakh Khanate.
